Polymer gel dosimetry shows the potential for the measurement of 3D dose distributions through the use of deformable phantoms. We are currently using the normoxic polyacrylamide gel DEFGEL to verify a real time IGRT platform currently under development. After the characterization of the DEFGEL paired with an MRI readout system, the gel will be incorporated into a deformable motion phantom for the verification of the IGRT platform.
