Linac Calibration and Small Field Dosimetry
Linac commissioning and calibration are important responsibilities of the clinical medical physicist. . Consisting of both instructional and hands on training, utilizing the UWMRRC’s dedicated teaching and research linear accelerator facility, this course will provide each attendee with a wide range of techniques for accurate measurement and characterization of medical linear accelerators. This course is designed to provide up to 14 hrs of Medical Physics Continuing Education Credit (MPCEC) to fulfill the ABR Part 2 requirements for Maintenance of Certification (MOC).
